New ring of 8 at Ovingham

Ovingham launched their appeal on October 6th 2010 for £110,000 to install a new light ring of 8 bells in their ancient tower. This new ring of 8, hung lower than the original 3, is now installed in the tower and being rung regularly by the Ovingham band. These bells are a great asset to the village, the Tyne Valley and to Northumberland.
