Next advanced practice – Monday 23rd January 2012:  Special methods: Bristol S Major, Spliced S Major (3 – 8 methods), Stedman Caters, Yorkshire S Royal, Bristol S Royal + other surprise major and royal by request.

Advanced practices are on Mondays or Wednesdays in 2012.

New ring of 8 at Ovingham??

Ovingham launched their appeal on October 6th 2010 for £110,000 to install a new light ring of 8 bells in their ancient tower. They currently have 3 barely ringable bells. A new ring of 8, hung lower than the existing 3, would be a great asset to the village, the Tyne Valley and to Northumberland.
